Active damping and robust loop shaping control for harmonic minimization

This paper presents an h-infinity robust loop shaping control and LCL filter to mitigate the effects of harmonic currents in photovoltaic system integrated with grid. To eliminate negative filter, this work applied notch active damping. Existing methods for elimination were reviewed. Proportional integral control, fuzzy logic are presented. The grid current was analyzed all controllers voltage source inverter harmonics caused by nonlinear loads two cases, one being constant loading linear load another is switching during simulation. results obtained from proposed method tests conducted compared those other prove robustness technique. manages reduce total distortion 7.85% 0.79% case 1 11.67% 1.14% 2.
